Steven Greenhouse was a New York Times reporter for 31 years and covered labor and workplace matters for the Times from 1995 through 2014. He served at a Times reporter in New York, Chicago, Washington and Paris. He is author of “The Big Squeeze: Tough Times for the American Worker” and is writing another book about the nations' workers.
